A college residential experience contributes to students success and satisfaction.  At Trinity, we believe that living intentionally is not only an opportunity to learn but also an expectation for Christ followers.  Because we intend to be an engaging residential campus and because we know that students who reside in college residence halls and living communities are more likely to persist and graduate, all students who leave home to attend Trinity are expected to live in college owned housing until the age of 22 or successful completion of their junior year (90 credit hours).

Our hope is that this intentional community will afford students a place to belong, a variety of new experiences and relationships, and an opportunity to more fully understand calling and purpose. Our residence life staff is committed to student learning and encourages students to fully engage this unique learning environment. The college's living communities will nurture and deepen friendships and will ensure greater access to faculty, peers, and campus events.

Our intent is to:

  • Facilitate competence in academic and non-academic contexts
  • Introduces strategies for managing emotion, resolving conflict, and problem solving
  • Promote the development of healthy interpersonal relationships
  • Guide self reflection that results in changed behavior
  • Invite the exploration of leadership skill and ability
  • Develop confidence for living and working in multicultural environments
  • Help pursue calling and purpose
  • Support successful social and academic transitions and development
